David Lefebvre

Born in Dunkirk in 1975.


Coming from a family of musicians, David started drumming at the age of 6 with his father Henri, then percussion and drums with his brother Bruno, who was a studente of Robert GOUTE, David has been a drum percussionist with the National Police Band (Musique de La Police Nationale) since 1997.

He is also co-founder of the group: "Les Tambours Tourangeaux" (Tam'Bat'Percussions). He obtained several conservatory prizes in percussion in the classes of Jean-Claude CHAZAL, Francis BRANA and Alban ANSELME. He also graduated with a first prize unanimously from the Ecole Supérieure de Batterie Dante AGOSTINI in Paris, in the class of Jacques-François JUSKOWIAK and Bernard BASSO.

He is Drum Master of the French school and national drum prize (CFBF –Fédération Française des Batteries et Fanfares). He has composed many pieces and works for drums, drums corps, percussion and fife, his pieces are regularly imposed in various regional and national competitions.

He teaches, intervenes in master classes and juries;

He has also been an ambassador for a French drumstick brand (KIX- Drumsticks) since 2022.
